Funkoars - Is very good

It's no secret - Australia's baddest/best/rudest hip hop crew The Funkoars are back with an explosive fourth full length release, The Quickening. With the Adelaide quartet's last project, The Hangover, released in 2008, it's been a while between drinks.

Having loved the oars' work since 2003's Who's Your Stepdaddy?, we hatonrack cats were fiending for a new signature slamming Funkoars drum arrangement, an original cutting-edge sample sequence, and fresh Trials, Sesta and Hons verses rude enough to make the baddest bogan blush.

The Funkoars Quickening launch show blew the roof off Sydney's Beresford Hotel a couple of weeks back. There are still some shows happening around Australia. Check out the tour dates and make one if you can - you won't regret it!
