Scorcher is well known in the London grime and hip hop circuits. Four mixtapes down since the release of Simply the best in 2006, Scorcher launched his first full-length album, Concrete Jungle, in November 2009. Featuring some of his better known tracks - including "I Know" (above) and "Lipsin' Ting" (below), which together have received more than 1.3 million views on youtube - Concrete Jungle has received critical acclaim and reviews on UK and European charts. The debut release features a real A-list of UK grime, including Wretch 32, Wiley, J2K, Mercston, Terminator, Rapid, Target, Skepta and Davinche.

A clear rising talent, Scorcher also produces many of his own beats, and is now signed to major record label Geffen Records.

The Scorcher show at Tone Nightclub on 23rd October is put on by our excellent homies at Peace Music - an outfit that immediately established itself as a ma

jor Australian player upon its first successful mega-project, the tour of A Tribe Called Quest, in August 2010. With tours of artists the likes of Kool and the Gang, Roy Ayers and others of supreme calibre in coming months, it's no question that Peace is raising the standards of live music enjoyed by Australian audiences to a new level.
