Nick Knowledge is a Sydney-born, German-raised MC prodigy. With over a decade of microphone slaughtering under his belt, Knowledge has travelled far from the bedrooms of '90s suburban Germany where he first recorded his raps.

Nick's hussle and talent are notorious in Sydney and beyond. Returning to Australia from Germany in 2002, he fast made a name for himself as a indomitable freestyle and battle MC, winning battle events around NSW through subsequent years.

Nick Knowledge has dominated innumerable hip hop stages, hosted break dancing events and club parties, featured in radio performances and mixtape launches, and owned countless open mics and street corner freestyle ciphers. His breathtaking live show brings together musicians from a wide range of backgrounds, from acoustic guitarists to saxophonists to trumpet players.

Characters lucky enough to grace the stage with Nick Knowledge in the past few years include international stars Jean Grae (NY), Cappadonna of the Wu-Tang Clan (NY) and Promoe of Looptroop, not to mention a long list of prestigious Australian and German artists.

Recorded music? Yeah Nick's got it, and how... He describes his recorded style as "true school hip hop with loads of personality, head-nod beats, a focus on lyricism and occasionally an air horn..." WTF?

Knowledge's stellar debut album, The Identity Crisis, was released in October 2007 on Creative Vibes. 3D World's reviewer described The Identity Crisis as an "unapologetic, raw record with a tough attitude and a distinctly local sound." Read more about and listen to The Identity Crisis.

Nick's focus on recording has only increased since The Identity Crisis. 2008 has seen Nick return to Germany twice to write and record a set of outstanding musical works that will form his second full-length release, Soul Sample. Featuring a battalion of international talent headed by world-renowned Brooklyn hip hop originator Masta Ace, Soul Sample is set to cause major swells upon splashing down in the Australian music scene in early 2009.

Knowledge's other major focus for 2008 has been the debut release from his 1nfo collaboration with Sydney super-producer, Jacob Giles, titled Information Jakeknowledgy. A nine track monster of addictive hip hop production laced with cyber-effected vocals, Information Jakeknowledgy is available now for free download.
